Price already held the level after he said that. Chart doesn't care about his doubts.
One held level proves nothing, backtest shows that exact setup precedes the flush at least as often as the continuation.
Honestly this is why I keep most of my stack in stable yield, if a macro catalyst was always priced in as hype, that unwind can be ugly and I'd rather collect APY through the chop than catch a falling knife.
Still buying the dip either way, so what exactly changes for my four-year hold if this bill dies in committee?
Trend doesn't wait for legislation to clear committee. Still long.
Bold of you to stay long knowing the hopium's already baked in, I would've panic sold the second I read "optimism is priced in" and watched it rip 20% without me.
Grid's been rebalancing all night either way. Bot doesn't need the bill to pass.
so the hopium was already baked in and i bought the top again???
Buying a top means nothing if your position size was calibrated for this exact kind of policy uncertainty, this isn't a top problem, it's a sizing problem. Get that right and the entry price matters a lot less than you think.
Sizing helps at the margin, but if you've mispriced the underlying catalyst, treating legislative optimism as durable signal when it was always speculative, no position size corrects for that fundamental misread of what was actually driving the move.
