This Privacy Policy explains how CryptoSwings, operated by MZ NY TECHNOLOGIES INC. ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our platform (the "Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described here.

1. Information you provide

Account information: username, email address, and a password (which we store only in hashed form).
Profile information: any avatar or profile details you choose to add.
Activity: your predictions ("calls"), comments and replies, upvotes, watchlist, follows, and any content you submit.
Preferences: notification settings and, if you enable push notifications, your device's push subscription token.
Communications: newsletter sign-ups and any messages you send us.

2. Information we collect automatically

IP address at registration and when you vote (used for security, rate-limiting, and abuse prevention).
Device and usage data such as browser type, pages viewed, and actions taken.
Local storage: we store an authentication token in your browser's local storage to keep you signed in. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

3. Public information

The Service is built on public accountability. Your username, predictions, accuracy, rankings, points, streaks, badges, and comments are public and may be viewed by anyone, displayed on leaderboards and profiles, included in shareable cards, and indexed by search engines or shared on social platforms. Do not post anything you wish to keep private.

4. How we use information

operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including scoring calls and building leaderboards and public profiles;
create and secure your account and authenticate you;
send you service-related and, where permitted, promotional communications and notifications;
detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, manipulation, and security issues;
display relevant content, including sponsored or advertising content;
analyze usage to understand and improve how the Service is used;
comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:

Service providers: vendors who help us operate the Service, such as email delivery, push-notification delivery, and hosting/infrastructure providers, who process data on our behalf.
Publicly: as described in Section 3.
Legal: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Market data shown on the Service is obtained from third-party providers (such as CoinGecko, CoinPaprika, and KuCoin). We retrieve market data from these providers; we do not share your personal information with them as part of that process.

6. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Public activity, such as resolved calls and comments, may remain visible as part of the platform's historical record even after individual data is removed.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including hashing passwords. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.

8. Your choices and rights

You can update your account details and notification preferences in your settings, and you can opt out of promotional emails at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, or to request a copy of it. 9. Children

The Service is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 (or under the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to those countries, which may have different data-protection laws than yours.

11. California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request access to or deletion of your personal information; to correct inaccurate information; and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights.
