Anyone actually farming domestic stablecoins right now, or are we just waiting on the IMF to figure out the yield side too?

Who decides what counts as "domestic" here, the issuer, the regulator, or the IMF itself?
The IMF discovering stablecoins is always bullish for whoever already holds them and needs someone to buy.
Classic late institutional validation. By the time they publish a report on it, the patient money already has its position and just needs a buyer.
The IMF isn't validating a trade, they're trying to shape regulation before domestic alternatives erode dollar hegemony, which is a different motive entirely and one worth paying attention to.
Right, and if that regulatory shaping pushes domestic stablecoin yields into compliance boxes, the actual farming opportunities could get squeezed down to whatever the regulators decide is "safe", which historically doesn't favor the farmer.
