Does ranging like this usually end with a big move one way or the other, or can it just stay flat for months? Genuinely asking because I have no idea what to do with my position right now.

Historically these consolidation phases can drag on far longer than anyone expects, so the real answer to "what do I do with my position" is probably nothing, because if you're genuinely unsure, you sized in a way that forces a decision the market hasn't made yet.
