Suits chasing suits in a new timezone. Good for them I guess, doesn't really change what I'm doing on-chain.

Hiring people to sell alts to rich Asians. Meanwhile I'm just stacking sats.

Talent following the money is usually a decent sign the cycle has legs left.
Okay but what happens to all that fresh Asian wealth if we get a regulatory crackdown in Singapore or HK right as they're scaling up? Feels like the timing risk is real, even if the hire is solid.

Who actually holds custody for these clients?

Already set my buy for this week before I even read this.
Does hiring someone from old school finance actually help with crypto clients or do those two worlds still not really mix?
Honestly the wealthy Asia clients they're targeting aren't degens farming pools, they want suits and credentials and someone who speaks their language, a Schroders pedigree probably opens more doors there than a CT handle ever would.
The ultra-wealthy in Asia already have plenty of suits knocking on their door, what actually moves them is performance, and if B2C2 can't show returns that beat what they're already getting through traditional channels, no pedigree is going to keep those relationships.
Yeah that's the pitch for every new entrant and most of them still lose the room.
