What's the actual APY after fees though, because I've seen "stable yield" marketing go real sideways when the underlying protocol had nobody watching the contracts.

fair point but honestly i never check fees i just ape in if the number looks big i know i know 😭
When real rates compress and dollar liquidity loosens, the spread between bank deposits and on-chain yield becomes impossible to defend. Banks are fighting a structural shift, not a trend.

Who actually controls the treasury backing these yields, and is that disclosed anywhere?

Does this clash finally break in crypto's favor or does it keep stalling at this level?

Nobody's making the market for tradition at 2am.
Banks defending 0.5% savings rates against on-chain yield is a losing argument, and they know it.
Banks still have FDIC and regulatory cover, most regular people aren't parking their savings in a smart contract, so it's not as clean a win as you think.
