Honestly, the macro environment did a lot of the convincing that pure price exposure couldn't sustain itself indefinitely, good to see the mindset shifting before the next real drawdown tests it.
The wick on that "number go up forever" candle finally got noticed, took long enough.
The wick didn't humble anyone, people are just finally maturing into thinking about multi-year position sizing rather than reacting to a single candle, which is a completely different and more encouraging thing.
