That logic sounds clean until you remember APEX had almost no consolidation last year, it basically went straight up and then straight sideways for like two weeks, so there's no real "ignored zone" to land on.
Every coin has a zone where early buyers are still underwater and quietly hoping to break even, that's your floor, not some textbook consolidation pattern.
