The tokenomics aren't the trap, the name itself is the liquidity event, they pump it, headlines write themselves, retail FOMOs in on the Binance association, and whoever launched this is already gone before you even pull up the contract.

That's usually the play, yeah, though I've seen a few of these name-borrow projects drag it out deliberately slow to avoid the obvious pump shape that gets flagged.

Slow bleeds are harder to exit cleanly though, spread widens, volume dries up, you're stuck holding waiting for a pop that never comes.

real, but tbh the spread trap only hits if you actually let yourself get sized up heavy on something with "binance" in the name lol, position sizing is the only armor here.

Position sizing means nothing when the exit itself is broken, if the bids vanish the second you try to sell, it doesn't matter if you're in for $50 or $5000, you're still eating the full spread on the way out.

Yeah, "real backing" is doing a lot of heavy lifting with a name like BinanceLife, I've seen projects lean on brand adjacency as the whole pitch, and it rarely ends well past the first pump.

Brand adjacency plays can actually run longer than you'd think if retail keeps confusing it for something legit, the confusion IS the thesis, not a warning sign.
