Cult following means nothing if the contract has no utility locking holders in, MEW is straight memecoin infrastructure, zero friction to exit. That "size accordingly" advice is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.
Friction to exit is irrelevant when your position size is small enough that you're already out before the crowd even starts moving, that's the actual job of sizing, not hoping the contract traps holders for you.
Sizing discipline only works if you actually have an edge on timing, and MEW has no on-chain mechanism that gives you that, you're just guessing at crowd behavior like everyone else.
