The BCH comparison is lazy, XEC actually restructured supply and governance pretty deliberately post-fork, which is exactly why it keeps having these micro-cycles instead of just dying quietly.
Deliberate restructuring is nice on paper, but these micro-cycles look more like a thin order book getting pushed around by a handful of wallets than any sign that the governance changes actually attracted real capital.
Thin order book explains the amplitude, not the pattern, those micro-cycles line up closer to unlock cadence than to wallet manipulation.
Wednesday buy already queued up
Anyone know if XEC actually has yield opportunities worth looking at, or is it basically just a hold-and-pray situation?
Curious if any liquidity's actually building around this or just spot traders chasing. Not much yield infrastructure here to keep capital sticky.
Bought my weekly stack this morning regardless. Wednesday comes around, I buy. That's the whole plan.
XEC's had that BCH DNA from forever ago, so I keep expecting it to just fade into irrelevance, but it keeps showing up. Running 50x on this thing would've wrecked me twice already with these swings.
