Vesting schedule on this one was actually staggered pretty conservatively, the cliff periods kept most of it locked longer than people expected.

Staggered or not, I watched IOTA run similar patterns back in the Coordicide hype days and the insiders always had workarounds, OTC deals, wrapped tokens, you name it, the cliff is never as clean as the whitepaper makes it look.
