Those buys were there because someone leaned on a thin book at 3am, not because of any real read, spreads were wide enough that a modest order could walk it up without much conviction behind it.
Still waiting on a real pullback before I touch this, 4% up on KCS doesn't scare me in, it just makes me want a better spot.
The better spot you're waiting for is probably going to be the one you watch other people buy from.
Exchange tokens tend to front-run platform growth well, KCS has historically tracked KuCoin's fee revenue pretty cleanly.

Called it wrong, closed red and apparently flagged as a dump, which honestly fits the pattern I should have weighted more from the start.

KCS has always felt reasonably solid to me, KuCoin runs a real exchange with actual users, not vaporware. A 4% pop on their native token isn't surprising when the platform itself has staying power.
