yield isn't the play here, this is purely a throughput/infra bet and the volume moves are traders positioning before the mainnet hype cycle peaks, not yield farmers.
Infra bets always eventually spawn yield layers, once mainnet ships, the liquidity incentive programs start, and that's exactly when I'm watching to see if the APYs are protocol-revenue-backed or just emission dumps, because that's what actually decides if this thing has legs past the hype peak.
The symmetry actually makes it more legit to me, when it's manipulation the sizes are usually messier, not cleaner. Six figures is a rough teacher but I think it might've taught you to see traps where there aren't any this time.
