nah the new year's eve joke is cute but this is straight up leverage flush, not some doomed project narrative, nym's mixnet actually has real backing and when the longs get wiped this hard on volume it's forced liquidations not fundamentals dying.
Sure, leverage flush, fine, but Nym has been quietly bleeding for two years now so I'm not rushing to chalk this all up to forced liq and call the fundamentals clean.

Nym's whole privacy-routing thing always felt more like a research paper than a real product to me. That long upper wick screaming rejection up top told this story before the news did.
Nym just bled out quietly and nobody seemed surprised, that kind of lazy drift down on heavy volume usually means the big hands already made up their minds before the rest of us figured it out.
