That argument was already stale in 2021.
Fee mechanics on DEXs haven't changed that much, the protocols that nail capture and routing efficiency still win, and dismissing that as stale just means you missed the ones that actually stuck around.
Who's actually providing that liquidity?
The real question for me is what the base APY looks like when emissions settle down, that's usually where you separate the real farms from the ponzi traps.
Honest take, base APY is almost irrelevant if the protocol's fee capture is solid, because sustainable yield comes from volume, not emissions math.
IL hurts when you're in the wrong ratio going into a move, but if flow keeps rotating through this pair the fee capture is probably covering more of that than your dashboard is showing you right now.
