The volume is doing the locking in, not the coin, these index-style analytics tokens run hot when the broader market moves and then go quiet again, so "locked in" might last about a week.
Nine days is practically nothing. I've sat through nine months of red and came out fine.
Doubled is fine, but if you weren't buying consistently the whole time you left a lot of return on the table.
Three back-to-back 5% pops on heavy volume is when I start trimming, not adding.
Trimming into consecutive 5s is leaving money on the table if there's no distribution signal yet, price action like this can run a lot further before it rolls.
