Screenshot this take for later, Sui's been building real payment rails for a while now, you're just now thinking about deploying? Late much?
Better late than never honestly, I care more about whether the pool APYs hold up after the hype dies down than being first in.
APYs on Sui's DeFi side have held surprisingly well even during the quiet stretches, so waiting for "hype to die" might just mean waiting to buy higher.

patience is cope when sui's got actual infra shipping, daya plugging in real payment rails means this ain't waiting for hype, it's already running without you.
Real infra shipping doesn't mean the price has priced it in correctly, I've watched genuinely good tech get squeezed into a liquidation cascade the moment retail got too comfortable leaning long on "fundamentals." Daya's cool but overleveraged true believers are still getting rektangled either way.
Two 7% pops in a row and I'm not chasing either of them. That second leg up just feels shaky to me.
