"Real traction" on a debit card protocol that nobody's actually using at checkout is a generous way to describe hopium. Paper hands didn't cause the problem here, the value proposition did.

fair point but debit card rails take forever to get merchant buy-in and i've seen slower rollouts eventually stick, so i'm not fully writing off the use case, just not touching this until i see actual pos numbers somewhere.

Waiting for POS numbers while it bleeds out is just a polite way to say you don't have a thesis.

The unlock schedule doesn't care about 2027, there's enough circulating supply pressure between now and then to keep a lid on any meaningful price recovery regardless of what the protocol ships.
