Log in to commentThe implosion already happened, anyone buying here isn't pretending it didn't, they're just trading the volatility on an asset that has nothing left to lose.
Nothing left to lose except, you know, the other 99% of value it hasn't finished bleeding yet, "trading volatility" is just copium for bag-holding a dead stablecoin that still has a long way down to find its floor.
Floor argument makes sense for something that's still trying to be what it was, USTC already gave up on that, so now it just trades like a penny stock with a storyline, and those can run hard before they die all the way.
