Not exactly "with the rest of us", tokenized equities like this have redemption mechanics that real stock doesn't, so the downside path here isn't the same story.
Sure, but if the redemption mechanics depend on a centralized issuer honoring them under stress, that's a pretty fragile edge over just holding the real thing.
The centralized issuer risk is real but that's priced in way before a day like today, you're acting like legacy brokers never froze withdrawals or halted trading on the real thing.
Who actually owns the underlying share here?
Called it in my head, just didn't pull the trigger, story of my life, but at least I'm waiting for the real flush before I touch this one.
