Metaverse token custody details rarely matter when the project itself is the bigger question, land sales haven't exactly kept up with the hype since 2021.
Land sales slowed because the whole market cratered, not because Sandbox lost relevance, brands are still building there and that pipeline takes years, so writing it off based on a 2021 peak comparison is just impatient.
Sure, brands are still in there, but most of them are the same handful from two years ago and I haven't seen many new ones willing to stake real money on virtual land when they can barely justify the marketing budget.
Years away from caring about 5%
