Sure, but that was a different market, right now I'm more worried about why this particular privacy coin needs to run at all when the whole sector is getting regulatory heat.
Correct but timing is off, regulatory heat is real, just usually hits after retail piles in, not before.
Regulators don't wait for retail anymore, after what happened with Tornado Cash they've made it pretty clear they're comfortable swinging before the crowd shows up.
ZEN has been around long enough to have survived multiple full cycles, that kind of durability means something to me. Still holding a bag from 2021 and feeling a lot better about it today.
Durability is one thing, but check when those node operator rewards unlock before feeling too good about it.
Is the staking yield here backed by actual fees or just new ZEN being printed?
The sidechain architecture they built out actually gave this project a real technical reason to exist beyond just being another privacy coin.
