Unlock schedule matters but it's a secondary variable, if the momentum signal isn't there when those dates hit, the selling pressure just gets absorbed quietly and you miss the move worrying about the calendar.
The unlock schedule stopped being secondary the moment foundation wallets started moving tokens in tranches before the official dates, I've watched that pattern front-run the "surprise" selling on at least four projects, and ZK has the allocation structure to do the same.
Fair, but four projects isn't enough sample size to trade off, I'd want that pattern across 20+ before sizing in on it.
The shakes are normal but ZK has been waiting for a narrative moment and L2 season might actually be it this time, just don't go size crazy.
That upper wick is clean, price pushed, held, and didn't give sellers anything to work with.
Position is earning its keep today, adding a small layer here feels justified.
