Dessa Climbed 37%, Then Spent the Day Falling Twice As Far

One Hour Up, The Rest of the Day Down

About an hour. That is all the time Dessa needed to post a 37.5% gain on November 6, 2026, a clean vertical line that would have looked wonderful framed and hung on a wall.

Then the rest of the day happened. By the close, DESSA sat at minus 45.3%, which means the coin gained a third of itself in sixty-odd minutes and then handed back that and considerably more over the hours that followed. An hour up, a day down, and a net result that looks like someone stepped on a rake.

That is one move out of fifty that played out across the session. Nine of those fifty ended up confirmed as pump and dumps, Dessa the loudest among them. For a day that produced no fireworks at the top of the market, the small end did the heavy lifting of making the whole thing interesting.

The Ones That Resolved

Dessa was the headline, but it had company in the honest-loss department. Fogo tripped the radar with a 26.7% move over the course of the day and settled down 13.6%, not a trap, just a coin that climbed and then thought better of it. Aria.AI managed the gentlest landing of the top three, flagged at 22.8% and closing off 5.4%.

The day's movers, final results

The pattern underneath those headliners was less about explosive upside and more about controlled disappointment. Among the moves that turned out to be pump and dumps, the damage ran from Dessa's spectacular minus 45.3% down through Collector Crypt at minus 21.9% and Derive at minus 16.9%. A few finished the day green despite the label, Arbitrum at 9.7%, Moolah at 9.1%, Pepe at 6.1%, proof that a move can look fine on the close and still have been the kind you were better off watching than holding. Tezos, OKB and XRP all ended modestly red.

Across the full board, the day's calls landed on the right side of events a little under half the time, per the records at CryptoSwings. Which is to say November 6 was a coin flip that mostly came up tails.

Four Still in the Air

The books are not closed. Thirty-four moves were still inside their window when the day ended, four of them worth keeping an eye on.

The biggest of the lot is Impossible Cloud Network Token, flagged at 37.7%, a move almost exactly the size of Dessa's opening spike, which is not a comforting comparison given where Dessa ended up. It has a day to settle. Degen posted a sharper, faster 17.2% jump in the space of an hour, the kind of quick burst that either holds or evaporates in a hurry. Bifrost came in at 15.7% over the day, and Concrete at a more modest 9.3% in an hour.

Nothing is decided for any of them yet. What the day's completed moves suggest is simple enough: a loud opening number and a trustworthy closing number were frequently two different things on November 6. The spikes that looked best early were not reliably the ones left standing. ICNT's 37.7% in particular carries the shape of a move that wants watching rather than chasing.

The Takeaway That Won't Sit Still

Strip it all down and the day told a single story in two numbers. Dessa gained 37.5% in about an hour and lost 45.3% over the day. The first number is what grabbed attention. The second is what actually happened.

That gap, between the move that pulls you in and the move that pays out, was the real theme of November 6. Nine confirmed pump and dumps out of fifty is not a bloodbath, but it is enough to remind anyone watching that the prettiest candle on the chart is often the one with the shortest shelf life. The market spent the day proving it, one quick spike at a time.
