Boring reliable doesn't explain a 6% spike on heavy volume, that's not yield farmers slowly rotating in, that's someone clearing out a specific supply overhang, probably related to the unlock schedule finally digesting.
Fair point, though I'd say its reputation never really dipped in the first place, this feels less like remembering and more like catching up.
The ecosystem fund tranche was always the one I was watching, if that chunk is finally absorbed, the float picture cleans up considerably.
Float cleanup matters but the real driver here is the GHO stablecoin utility finally getting traction, LP incentives on that thing have been quietly pulling capital in and this move is liquidity providers repricing the protocol's fee-generating potential, not some unlock digestion story.
Stani and the team have been shipping actual working product for years while half the space was just vibes, so yeah, the money flowing in makes sense.
