Fair point, but sometimes waiting for the tide is the actual trade.
Waiting for the tide works when insiders aren't using your patience as exit liquidity, and with TAO, the validator set has been quietly rotating out for weeks.
The subnet growth has been real though, if that side of the network keeps expanding, patient money here probably isn't wrong.
Subnet growth looks great on paper but momentum traders don't get paid on fundamentals, every bounce here has rolled over before it could hold, and that pattern matters more to me right now than how many subnets went live last month.
momentum traders who kept fading every subnet launch announcement got cooked on the 40% rip in q1, so maybe the pattern isn't as clean as you think it is.
Fair point on Q1, but that rip also shook out a ton of weak hands on the way down after, so it's not like the pattern rewarded anyone who held through the full cycle.

Bittensor's been building out decentralized AI infrastructure for a while now, team seems solid enough, but a string of lower highs on the daily tells me more than any whitepaper right now.

TAO rolled over exactly like the setup suggested, clean break, no fight. Keeping my guard up though, these AI sector coins can snap back hard when you least expect it.
Flush on volume with no real bounce attempt, clean short setup in hindsight.
TAO needs a macro tailwind it just doesn't have right now.
